TAKminds is a platform founded in 2018 by television presenter, producer, and talk-show host, [[Ricardo Karam]].<ref name=":0"></ref>
First emerging as a series of conferences and panel discussions organized by TAKREEM with the intention of bringing its community together<ref name=":1">Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> - including board members, laureates, and high profile global personalities - TAKminds has developed into an independent Forum "bringing together bright minds from around the world to meet, connect, and share ideas for the betterment of the Arab community".<ref name=":2"></ref>
TAKminds aims at highlighting how change makers can address the post [[Arab Spring]] challenges integrating past, present and future; nature and technology; modernity and tradition; women and men; disabled and healthy.<ref name=":3"></ref>

==== "Weaving Sustainable Destinies in the Middle East" ====
The first edition entitled “Weaving Sustainable Destines in the Middle East” was held on November 18, 2018 at the [[Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre|Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Center]] in Kuwait and brought together leading experts and global figures.<ref name=":4" />
TAKminds’ Chief Guest speaker was [[Kailash Satyarthi]], the 2014’s Nobel peace laureate and founder of Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> Satyarthi is a global advocate of children’s rights and through his “Save the Children” movement; he was successfully able to save 85,000 children and their families from the bonds of slavery and exploitative labor. Mr. Satyarthi is the exemplary kind of inspiring figures and personalities that TAKminds aims to offer its platform to, in months and years to come.<ref></ref>
The forum also included three panels that grouped several leading experts from different fields each contributing to the improvement of their communities.
