'''Naik Ramji Bhangre''' or '''Ramji Bhangria''' was chief constable ([[Jemadar]]) in [[British police|British Ahmednagar police]] in hilly posts and freedom activist. He left British police because his salary was not increased. In 1828, he joined the [[Govindrao Khare]] who was commander of [[Ratangad]] fort near [[Akola]] and in 1829, he joined [[Rama Kirwa]] and ravaged the [[Deccan Plateau|Deccan]] far and wide. In 1830, he was raised the [[Bhils]] against British. His raids was most dare daring against British.
