'''Motel on Murder Mountain''' (Tennessee Horror Stories) is a 2020 American [[giallo]] [[crime fiction]] [[weird menace]] novella and [[audiobook]] written by Carl E. Miller, released on Amazon and iTunes. The stories take place in the actual ghost town of [[Elkmont, Tennessee]] and [[Adams, Tennessee]] respectively. The Yellow Brick Motel from the story is loosely based on the [[Wonderland Hotel]] in Elkmont, Tennessee and the notorious [[Bell Witch]] from Adams, Tennessee. The main character Elsa is loosely based on [[Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS|Ilsa]] from the [[Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS|Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS]] franchise.

== Plot ==

Elsa Mueller, a seductive prostitute who harbors a deadly secret, visits the town of Elkmont, Tennessee just as a string of murders occurs, making her a likely suspect in the eyes of the law. Two detectives (Bill Landless) and (Dave Rodgers) are assigned to the case, but they soon discover way more than just killing has been going on at the Yellow Brick Motel, a run-down establishment on the outskirts of Elkmont.
