== Education ==
Ghosh completed MBA from the [[Jadavpur University]] in [[Kolkata]] and an [[LL.B]] from the [[Burdwan University]]. She studied International Marketing and Psycho Analytical Theory from summer school of [[Harvard University]]. She received Gurukul Fellowship of the [[Government of the United Kingdom]] and studied Political Science from [[London School of Economics]]. ==Career==
Ghosh initially worked in Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of [[West Bengal Police]]. She was promoted to the [[Indian Police Service]] and posted as superintendent of police of [[Paschim Medinipur district]] in 2011. On 15 August 2014 she was awarded a service medal for controlling the [[Maoism|Maoist]] activities in local area.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> She was transferred to the third Battalion of the West Bengal Armed Police on 26 December 2017.<ref name=":0">Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> After her voluntary retirement several complaints were lodged against Ghosh. In April 2019, [[CID West Bengal|CID]] declared her an absconder for illegal gold transactions, cheating and extortion cases.
