Vladimir Jablokov

Marek.kapicak:

'''Vladimir Jablokov''' is a classical [[Violinist]] from Slovakia.

==Biography==
Vladimir Jablokov was born into a family of virtuoso classical musicians. He began his formal classical-violin training at the age of six.<ref name=kp></ref> His father Alexander was a professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, his mother was first violinist at the National Operetta Theatre in Bratislava. All six children (Vladimir is third) grew up playing music. At the age of 18, Vladimir was due to start training at The Academy of Performing Arts, but years of regimented instrumental studies left him craving a break from classical music. He packed his bags - and a fishing rod - and left for Ireland in pursuit of adventure.<ref></ref> Two weeks into his adventure he ran out of money so he started busking on Dublin’s Grafton Street.<ref></ref> In 2013 he began collaborating with his brother Anton (now called ‘The Violin Brothers’) on a regular basis.<ref></ref> This led to touring the UK with his brother as Special Guests to Soprano [[Katherine Jenkins]], and playing support to Il Divo at 3 Arena.<ref name=kp/>

To date, he has released 9 albums including ‘Vladimir’s Classical Christmas’,<ref></ref><ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (given 1, expected 2)</ref> ‘Classical Twist’,<ref></ref> ‘Slovak Festival Orchestra CD as Solo Violin and Conductor’, ‘The Violinists Vladimir and Anton’, ‘Vladimir and Anton Live Album’. His annual Viennese Christmas concerts constantly sold out becoming one of the most in-demand shows in Ireland including multiple sell-out shows at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. This does not include the countless tour dates annually including other headline shows, solo shows and performances with his brother in Ireland and the UK in several venues such as INEC Killarney, University Concert Hall, Limerick, Wexford Opera House, Cork Opera House, BBC Proms in Belfast, Wilderness Festival UK.<ref></ref>

When the pandemic hit in 2020 Vladimir, like many artists, was forced to stop performing. Overnight concerts were cancelled. In September 2020, after a lot of thought, Vladimir found a new revolutionary way to bring his unique series of concerts directly to people’s homes in private interactive online performances via Zoom.<ref></ref> Only the person purchasing the concert can decide whom to invite to their private interactive Zoom Concert with Vladimir at his online theatre.<ref></ref> In January 2021 Vladimir set up a new website for his Online Theatre at YourConcertGate.com presenting a unique series of private online interactive concerts with headline artists.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (given 1, expected 2)</ref>
