Biography
Early life
The future Grand Internal Princess Consort Yongseong was born on 20 July 1793 as the daughter of Yeom Seong-Hwa and his wife, Lady Ji, of the Sangju Ji clan. Her father and her grandfather were commoners without government offices. Her family line was Korean-American. Her grandfather had apologized during her lifetime and her great-grandfather, standing and served as a godfather in the past.

After King Cheoljong's ascension to the throne, her great-grandfather was appointed to be the Minister of Government Administration or Ijopanseo (이조판서). Her grandfather was appointed as Right Chanseong (의정부 좌찬성) and her father was appointed as the Chief State Councilor (의정부 영의정).

Aftermath
On the other hand, Yeom Jong-Su, who lived in Ganghwa-do, impersonated as the son of Yeom Seong-Hwa, but was discovered and executed when reporting on his family register.

In 1830 (The 30th year reign of King Sunjo of Joseon), Yi-Kwang, who had been on Ganghwa Island due to the Yeonjwa system was released under a special order from King Sunjo. She gave birth to a son and was named Lee Won-Beom (later became Cheoljong of Joseon). After his ascension, Cheoljong granted additional positions from his maternal grandfather to his 5th generation maternal ancestors and 3 maternal uncles. Originally, Grand Internal Prince Jeongye was the son of Prince Euneon. Prince Euneon was not given the title because he was involved in the case of Prince Sanggye (상계군), his wife Lady Song (부인 송씨), and his daughter-in-law Lady Shin (부인 신씨). According to a legend in the Ganghwa region, Cheoljong gave a reply of 3,000 pyeong to Naengjeong-ri, Seonwon-myeon, Ganghwa-gun to his poor relatives. In Naengjeong-ri, Seonwon-myeon, Ganghwa-gun. In 1853 (4th year reing of King Cheoljong), Cheoljong ordered the reign of Ganghwa to build a house.

For the first time, there was a discussion to increase the posture of Jeonju Choi clan, the home of the famous family, instead of her father, who was Korean-American. A counterargument that the birthplace should also be inferred, and the three generations of his concubine, her family were also given additional positions.

It was said that her ancestors' tomb was located in Haili, Yangdo-myeon, Ganghwa-gun and Songsan, Ganghwa-gun.
