Devor holds an MFA in Radio, Television, and Film. He was vice president of a [[public relations]] firm before releasing his first feature, ''[[The Woman Chaser]]'', in 1999. He has also worked as a banker in Africa.<ref name= "nitrint"></ref>

Devor has directed documentaries as well as fiction films.
