River Sukhnaag
Originates from the towering peaks of western Pirpanchals in Budgaam Poonch Border the river flows through the valley of [[Tosamaidan]] and exits this valley at Sukhnag Waterfall in Southern Sukhnaag Valley.
This river then gives birth to a no of canals in the valley which are crucial from agricultural point of view the canals include The Ahji Canal The Lar Canal these two canals irrigate a vast area of Sukhnag Valley and western Plains of Khansahib Tehsil.
The River then enters its own valley the Sukhnaag Valley and exits it near Beerwah through a deep gorge in the Bairum Hillock.
==Entemology==
The Word comes from two kashmiri words Sukh means Calm and Naag means Spring
Therefore the name Of river means silent spring or Calm spring.
But the name name should not be taken as a misunderstanding the river turns Violent in Flood situation with having a destructive flood history.
