Larrikin Puppets is an Australian puppet theatre company that was founded in 2012.

Originating in Brisbane as a one man show, Larrikin Puppets eventually moved north of Brisbane to Bribie Island. Larrikin Puppets principal puppeteer is Brett Hansen, who began practicing puppetry at the age of three and continued performing puppet shows throughout his childhood. while Elissa joined Brett for casual training at The Puppet Kitchen in New York City under Henson puppeteer Michael Schupbach.

Larrikin Puppets mostly tours South East Queensland, Central Queensland and Northern New South Wales with both indoor and outdoor puppet shows and workshops. Larrikin Puppets style of puppetry is inspired by the work of Jim Henson, but, as opportunities in film and television puppetry are few in Australia, the majority of their work consists of live performances at childcare centres, festivals, schools, libraries, shopping centres and corporate events.

Outside of Australia, Larrikin Puppets has performed at the Puppetry Arts Festival of Brooklyn (New York City, USA) .

Brett Hansen won the 'BizCover NEIS Change' award at the Small Business Development Conference in Melbourne , after the growth of Larrikin Puppets in its first three years. The business has since been a finalist at the 2017 What's On 4 Kids Awards and the 2018 Moreton Bay Region Business Excellence & Innovation Awards .
