'''Nem Shahji Mukne''' was elder son of [[Jayabha Mukne|Nayak Jayabha Mukne]]. After death of his father Jayabha, He was established at throne on 5th June 1343. He expanded his patrimony and conquered a large territory controlling twenty two forts mostly of [[Nashik district]] and [[Thane district]] of [[Maharashtra]] and increased the annual revenue at £90,000 (9,00,000 Rupees). During his time, Jawhar State was only large state in [[Konkan]] so Nem Shahji Mukne was recognised as a ruler of [[Jawhar]] and respected with the title of [[Shah]] and receiving of new name '''Nem Shah''' ('''Nim Shah''') by [[Sultan]] [[Muhammad bin Tughluq]] of [[Delhi Sultanate]].
