Thuruthippuram Boat Club is a water sports club formed in the Village Thuruthippuram in Ernakulam District, Kerala. The club was formed in 1997. Initially club was named as St.Antony's boat club and later in 1999, the name of the club was changed to Thuruthippuram Boat Club. Thuruthippuram Boat club is the organizers of the famous boat race of central kerala 'Thuruthippuram Boat Race'. Club has a strong rowing team which participates in major boat races in kerala. Club's rowing team was formed in 2014 and selected the young people from the village and trained them to participate in the major boat races. Club's debut competition was in the Iruttukuthi B Grade Category in Nehru Trophy boat race 2014 held in Alappuzha[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nehru_Trophy_Boat_Race]], Kerala, which is the famous boat race in kerala. The team provided a good fight for the defending champions but failed to qualify for the finals. The club clinched it's first trophy in President's Trophy Boat Race held in Kollam, Kerala [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_Trophy_Boat_Race]] in the same year in the Iruttukuthi B Grade Category. They rowed the boat Hanuman No.1.
