The '''Khost rebellion''' began on 2 May 1912, when [[Mangal (Pashtun tribe)|Mangal]] and [[Zadran (Pashtun tribe)|Jadran]] tribesmen in [[Khost]], [[Afghanistan]] rose up against the local governor and besieged him at Matun. On 13 June, it was reported to be subsiding.
