== History ==
Alyssa was born to teen parents, addicted to drugs. Her father was serving his time in jail for assault and her mother (being a drug and alcohol abuser) abandoned her to her grandmother. At the age of 13 she tried to attempt suicide, and ever since she was taking prescribed anti-depressants.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> In school she was a normal student and had friends, she was A and B grade achiever in class. However, her online presence was different, she listed “killing people” and “cutting” as her hobbies on Twitter and YouTube.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref>  

== Murder of Elizabeth Olten ==
Elizabeth Olten was 9 year old neighbor of Alyssa and lived four house down to hers. Alyssa convinced her younger sister to bring Olten to the forest to play. Alyssa strangled young Olten, slit her throat and stabber her. == Trial and Conviction ==
Bustamante first appeared in the court for trial on November 17, 2009, where she pleaded guilty and was charged with homicide in the second degree. Later, in the January of 2012, she was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of conditional release. It was stated by her lawyer that she would at least have to serve 35 years of imprisonment to be qualified for parole.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref><ref></ref>
