Originally from [[Toronto]], [[Ontario]], Campbell studied creative writing at [[Concordia University]]. She had her first film role in [[Matthew Porterfield]]'s 2013 independent film ''[[I Used to Be Darker]]'',<ref name=thegate/> and has since appeared in films including ''[[How Heavy This Hammer]]'', ''[[Never Eat Alone]]'', ''[[The Other Half (2016 film)|The Other Half]]'', ''[[Veslemøy's Song]]'', ''[[Fail to Appear]]'' and ''[[Please Speak Continuously and Describe Your Experiences as They Come to You]]''.
