Pierre Voirbo

Pierre Voirbo (died February 1869) was a [[France|French]] [[tailor]] and [[Murder|murderer]] who killed 72 year old Desiré Bodasse.<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (given 1, expected 2)</ref><ref></ref>

== Early life ==
Pierre was known for being strange in real life. He always begged for money and got very angry at others.<ref name=":0">Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (given 1, expected 2)</ref> He was described by detective Gustave Mace as being short, and wearing a long [[overcoat]] and [[top hat]].<ref></ref>

== Killing of Desiré Bodasse ==
After borrowing money from Bodasse, Voirbo could not pay him back, so he invited him to his house for a cup of coffee. Once he arrived, Voirbo hit Bodasse in the face and slit his throat. He then cut up his body and threw him into a [[well]].<ref name=":0" />

== Discovery ==
On January 26, 1868, a restaurant owner discovered a leg in the well. It was later proven to be the victims leg.<ref></ref>

== Arrest ==
Voirbo confessed to the crime and was arrested on December 14, 1868.<ref> Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderers|website=murderpedia.org|access-date=2020-02-26}}</ref> He died on February 1869.
