Draft UK Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)

ChefBear01: I moved cost statement of GNSS to description section

NEWTON is the proposed United Kingdom GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), which is been developed to as a replacement for the European Union’s Galileo Global Navigation Satellite System after Brexit.

The Newton GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System will be ran by the United Kingdom‘s Space Agency, and satellites are due to be begin being launched from Scotland using vertical launch platforms in 2025.

It has been worked out that the cost of new UK (GNSS) Newton will be 5 billion, however it may cost less as they could find ways to reduce the cost.

History
Newton was first discussed by the United Kingdom Government in November 2018 when the European Union told the United Kingdom that it would no longer be able to use the secure component on the European Union’s Galileo Satellite (GNSS), the European Union’s rival equivalent to the United States GPS System.
