Oklahoma overwhelmingly voted for the [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democratic]] [[incumbent]], [[Woodrow Wilson]], over the [[Republican Party (United States)|Republican]] nominee, [[Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States|Associate Justice]] [[Charles Evans Hughes]].

Despite a strong showing from the [[Socialist Party of America|Socialist]] candidate [[Allan L. Benson]], the state was won handily by [[President of the United States|President]] [[Woodrow Wilson|Wilson]]. He garnered 50.65 percent of the vote, compared to [[Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States|Justice]] [[Charles Evans Hughes|Hughes]] who won 33.25 percent of the vote. Wilson carries the state by a margin of 17.4 percent. Oklahoma proved to be the best showing for [[Allan L. This election continued the [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democratic]] trend in the state. [[Oklahoma]] would only vote [[Republican Party (United States)|Republican]] in the elections of [[1920 United States presidential election|1920]] and [[1928 United States presidential election|1928]] until the trend flipped after the [[1952 United States presidential election|1952 presidential election]].
