Ann E. Harrison is the 15th dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to Haas, she was Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. <ref>http://bit.ly/2WYF8jc>
Harrison was born in France to an American father and a French mother. She received a BA from UC Berkeley with a double major in economics and history in 1982, a PhD in economics from Princeton University and a diplôme d’études universitaires générales from the University of Paris.
Before joining the Wharton School in 2012, Harrison served as Director of Development Policy at the World Bank. She has also taught at UC Berkeley, Columbia Business School, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and the University of Paris.
She is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy.
